Toyota Urges U.S. Judge to Throw Out Lawsuits Over Sudden Acceleration

Interesting, but not unexpected considering the NHTSA testing has come to the conclustion that Toyota doesn't have a problem with their cars.

Reasons to not drive a Toyota:
1. They might not stop.
2. The company stated there drivers are dumb and does not know how to use the brakes.

From the link above:
"Toyota has always stated that the accuracy of the black boxes has never been scientifically validated. In fact, the company fights to keep the data from being used in litigation because it says the EDR data aren’t reliable."...
"The Toyota EDRs report accurate information when the vehicle is functioning properly. What happens when a vehicle experiences an unintended event, sets no error code, and a crash ensues?"

I would not believe the EDR in these cases.

Are you suggesting that there are no dumb drivers out there?

Are you suggesting that there are no dumb drivers of toyotas?

Even if there are technical issues that truly are the fault of Toyota, surely some of the "events" are from people not paying attention and having a bad outcome.

Hey, and it's not like the other manufacturers haven't had similar problems. Quite the contrary.

If you won't drive a car made by a company that has had recall problems for safety issues, I think your a walkin' kind of person.

Finest regards,

troy

All I was saying is it is either:
A. There is problem with a faulty product.
B. More dumb people drive Toyotas.
C. Your more likely to be dumb if you drive a Toyota.

Both B and C are derived from Toyota saying its not us its our drivers.
