Just like the focus which has been sold with a diesel but never in the US. I don't get it, it's a hell of a lot cheaper in the long run.

Well, not a bad idea, I suppose. But the mustang is an over-sized, overweight coupe for something that typically only seats one or (maybe) two people.

A focus diesel or equivalent might mean that I could buy an American car... what a thought.

I remember a while....I mean a WHILE....Ford started putting the BMW turbo diesel in the Mark VII. they ran ads showing track times against the same motor in a BMW 5 series. The Mark had better times. BMW instantly cancelled the contract.

I wish.
the v6 sucks no matter what they do with it..but a diesel would slow the crazy wobbler down.

I remember a nissan pickup diesel here, a freak find, must have been candaion imported or something, america just don;thave them.....a million miles was not even out of the question....that disappeared.

this year subaru may offer a boxer diesel in america (supposed to be here 2010) .. haven't seen anything of it.

crazy america.
