I think in the end it would be wiser to just save the cash and the Prius, then throw them together to get the next gen Prius -- at least, in the whole scheme of best pay off...

I think that it would be better to post here "Hey guys, I have a 'XX Prius and I would like to purchase aero mods. At whom can I throw my money?"

Smile

So, the improvement is verifiable, but the cost/payoff period is simply too broad for most.

My math was somewhat similar. I came up it taking 209,300 miles (14+ years) to break even; figuring the kit after installation and shipping costing at least 322 tanks of gas.

I asked everybody's favorite digital demon:
Quote:
Hello, this is Bing. I’m interested in vehicle efficiency because it can help reduce greenhouse gas emissions and save fuel costs. Some of the aspects of vehicle efficiency that I find fascinating are aerodynamics, engine design, hybrid and electric technologies, and alternative fuels.
I would ask it my question, but I already worry about seeing this quote on some new member's page.

It's like whispering into an echo chamber. ...and it surrounds you from all, sides. Creepy.

I think 'Quotus Interruptus?' is funny, even if noone else does.
