Those wheel arch covers could be a bit more stealth, eh? I've seen better on DIY cars around here, probably with less effort. The rest of it looks OK, though. The general theme seems to be OK, looks like they're touting performance from Aeromodding, which usually is correct.

That is to say that there is a performance look, feel, and even some actual performance advantage that can be gleaned from aero modding, including increased fuel economy potential, if done for whichever reason. Cars don't need to look like their supercar counterparts to handle well on the highway, and making an attempt to generate downforce at a net loss to the vehicle's already bad aero is just funny. At least someone is taking care of it in a somewhat sytlish/elegant way.

BTW - there is an aftermarket for the Prius... someone thought it would be the "New Civic" for youngin.

There are other, cleaner, aerokits out there.
This kit; ƒGƒAƒƒvƒŠƒEƒXYURASTYLE looks like this ARCHIVE>>ECO TUNING: MOONCRAFT PRIUS - Speedhunters when painted.
Here's a different one; Toyota Prius - Prius Aero Kit - Prius Aero Kit - Wheel Skirts, Hub Caps and Grille Block 7pc by Hybrid Effects

Or you could try customizing.
CAR SPOTLIGHT>> AIMGAIN PRIUS - Speedhunters

Moon Craft is doing something wholly different than anybody else with their
front wheel covers. I'm wondering if the open ring near the center of the
cover is to let air pass through:

I'd guess that is a 17 or 18 " wheel.)

If anything the air would pass outward, from the wheel well. If so, would it
be dispersed radially -- more likely in a curved path -- from center to rim,
or would all the air be drawn rearward by the air moving from front to back
along the side of the car.

I'd like to know more. I can't even find a site that has them for sale
nevermind additional information on them, even the Moon Craft site.

I would venture to guess that the center thingy is part of the attachment mechanism. The outer "donut" is mounted on that. It looks like I can get my fingers in there and unscrew the "donut hole".

CarloSW2,

OK, I can see that as an alternate explanation for the Moon Craft arrangement.
Of course, you can't really tell whether the center part, the "donut hole"
comes off first, or the cover, I guess that's the "donut," does. Maybe you
just push on the "hole," and the "donut" comes off.

It seems like the air valve access hole is somewhat larger than necessary to
get an air hose pressed on. Maybe it needs to be that big to get your fingers
around the valve cap.

It's too bad that there isn't more info readily available on these covers.
They have only appeared on a few cars.

I would really, really like to know more about them... $$$
