Upper Grill Block

Ok so I made a template today out of cardboard for the upper grill block here is my only question? Is it ok to leave it on the back side or do I have to put it on the front of the grill?

I think the backside is fine, but you have make sure it's secure enough not to be blown open by air pressure.

Yes I have about 8 spots I'll hold with zip ties to the front grill. Thanks

If it is sealed, then the back is virtually the same as the front. But if it was out from the front to fill in the "drop" between the headlights, that would be a bit better.

Thanks yeah it will be pretty sealed behind, so I will go with that thanks.

I have had coroplast behind my grill for a couple of years now. You can't even see that it is there. Still in perfect condition held in place with black zipties.

Putting it on the back is close to equivalent to putting it on the front. Because air can't pass through the grille, a high pressure zone builds up and the air moves around it with very little turbulence.
