Using ecomodder.com tips I had my best mpg ever!

I read through the sticky of 100+ mods and decided to try a few. No scientific method. No a-b-a. Just get out there and implement.

Dropped my speed a few mph, sped up before hills, and even tried coasting. Well, I beat my best ever commute mpg by 0.3 to 32.9, a commute I have done for 5 years. A snore mpg for most here but not bad for a 4,000# vehicle rated at 21 mpg highway.

Thanks to all those who contributed to the 100+ mods list!

More than 50% better than EPA is NOT snore MPG here.

Good job.

I have been cruising my Saturn and getting about 27 mpg. I got frustrated last night on the way home and let all the horses loose for a few seconds. This car is rated at 200 hp, quite a change from the Metro. I commute on two lane county roads and someone ahead of me was very erratic so I went around them. They almost made the 55 posted limit on the straight parts but slowed to about 40 on any sort of turn. This is a road that usually runs 60 mph with all traffic. Just letting off a little steam. Lol
