UV rays and coroplast?

I'd love to get some Dark Green coroplast to match my car as best as possible, but I heard that to avoid UV damage, the coroplast should be painted so I was just going to get white and paint it green. Only problem is I heard coroplast is hard to paint, so I'm wondering how long coroplast will last on the car or how painting coroplast would work out. I was also considering wrapping the coroplast in vinyl, but it seems pretty cost prohibiting.

Any Thoughts?

I painted the coroplast on my Civic with black Rustoleum camouflage spraypaint. No prep besides maybe wiping with a cloth and it seemed to stick pretty well. I only had the car for a few more months after that, but everything was holding up. Worst case scenario is you would have to do a bit of touch up every few months.

I used Krylon Fusion spray-bomb paint on white coroplast for my Vibe's grille block. It's held up very well.

Yeah, Krylon fusion is the s***. I used it on my old Ranger's grille, and it didn't flake for 3 years. This was with VERY little prep work.
If your coroplast is clean, Krylon Fusion should adhere very very well to it.

Ok thanks for the info guys. Do you think I should clear coat the fusion or just spray it on there and call it quits. I know the krylon doesn't need priming, so I'll just lightly sand my coroplast first.
