Haha! Well, we can't have that then.

Just noticed: the little car doesn't look lowered.

I agree - but then, my idea of a car with proper ride height is something like a Porsche 914 or Lotus Europa :-)

the idea of getting a convertable of some type and making it areo has been floating around in my head a lot lately. you could remove the top and trunk and then make a very aerodynamic roof/tail for it. chopping the windshield would be relatively easy compaired to chopping the whole top and convertables don't depend on their roof for structural integrity. i would make a big hatchback so the trunk was still usable. although rather large, the new Solar has a pretty smooth transition from hood to windshield so i'd imagine it would work well but i was thinking along the lines of a Miata or metro

I got to sit in a Tesla Roadster - now that's a low car!

I think chopped Metro's look cooler though!

I'm doubtful - someone would have ID'd the builder by now.

It's quite a bit different from the photos originally posted.

Seat height

Very cool idea only...is there a way to modify/lower the seats a handful of inches so your head doesn't get chopped along with the top of the car?

I dream of the day when I have the resources to be able to chop the top of my civic. Not THIS extreme mind you but at least 2-3in.
