I just now found this after all this time Very interesting.

Now that you own an Insight, I wonder if you would do something similar on that car. With all Honda's design effort on the wheels and rear of front fender contour, I've been wondering just how good/bad their design really was?

That's a good question. I suspect the flow behind the front wheels on the Insight is much better than the Metro/Firefly. I should tuft test it to compare.

There was a member here who made front skirts for his gen. 1 Insight. This was a while back, a few years ago at least. If I recall, he got to work on one of the first mornings after he put them on... and they were no longer ON. I don't think he tried again. I did a quick search just now, but couldn't find the thread.

So do it - you have the technology.

You could open the passenger window and slip the boom pole behind the two seats. Then wedge the boom by pushing the seat and seat back firmly back. Might need a small amount of duct tape

Funny - this morning I was thinking about just that (camera boom mounting options).

I'm curious about this too... so I'll put it on the list for this weekend.
