LOLOL your not supposed to stop unless the stupid light makes you stop, but you know that already. He did kind of blow through the last stop sign before we got to the park, when the two of us took his shortcut.

Slow progress is still progress...

So, I've been struggling with figuring out how to smooth out the front because nearly nothing inexpensive sticks to plastic.

After a couple of attempts that failed using caulk and expanding foam both. I found that "spray adhesive" works rather well to attach (and I'm not sure what it's called) a fibrous matting that is usually used for flower beds.

I already had the can of spray adhesive and the matting stuff so the cost of this is FREE. Which is my kind of price range.

Here are a few updated photos of the nose. I've still a long way to go with it, but it's progress none the less.

there were a couple in a car ahead of me, they braked, slowed to get behind me and when they passed me again, they had the biggest stares aimed at me. guess they quit laughing long enough to stop and stare.

The frame is a combination of aluminum and lightweight metal (used in drop ceilings). Then I riveted corrugated plastic to this and finally have glued a fiber matting on top of that. I will be smoothing it with Bondo and then fiberglassing over the top of that for a more finished look.
