Remember that every inch of tail extension is worth 6-8" inches of front end extension. In short, your time and money will go further by extending the rear instead of the front. This will keep your car shorter for maneuvering and parking while giving it better performance to boot.
Ok, re-worked a lot, I ended up deciding that I don't want to deal with articulated front skirts like a lot of other people have done. I've decided to widen the car 6in. and yes, I understand that the frontal area is increased... ultimately, I think it looks better too, and once complete won't really make that much of a difference in Cd.
And... with headlights, fog lights, radiator ducting:
Now I just need to quit fooling' around with the computer and get to work!

Some photos of the beginning of the work on the rear. I decided to extend the trunk deck first so as to get an idea of how far rearward the car will be extended. The sides back and bottom will be done later (as I have time). The top part extending down from the roof will be the last part that I do.
At this point I still retain use of the trunk. I'm not sure if that will continue as I start going further with this...

Nice progress. Can you tell a difference with those few rear end mods?
I just put the endplates on a few min ago, took photos and came inside. So... I'll let you know. I'm getting ready to drive a few hundred miles today so that should give me a basic idea of if it has helped much/at all.
The real nice thing is that at this time the ENTIRE rear addition is removable in a matter of min.
