Gas HOG - '08 JEEP LIBERTY SPORT

Ventvisors what's the feedback

I recently traded my 08 Jeep Liberty aka gas hog for a 2010 base Honda fit. I love the mpg's from this car (22 mpg vs 37 mpg) and was wondering if adding ventviors might affect my mpg because of the increased turbulence they create. On the other side, they may help me by not having to turn on the AC or heat. I was wondering what is the verdict on these.

Thanks,
Ravi

The consensus is that adding to the frontal area hurts Cd. On a very old car with terrible Cd, they may actually help. This is a 1981 Peugeot Vera that was aeromodded :

They claimed a benefit :

If I were you, I would only add them to the front windows. I originally had 2, but now I only have one on the driver's side. I use it to delay/avoid A/C and to vent the cabin when it is parked.
