Ironically, the 924 does NOTHING for me. It's all in those awesome fender flares!

I agree completely
I was looking for an 79-85 Mercury Capri that raced. It had those same styled fenders. Very tough looking. I have always liked the 944 styling.
My brother's girl friend in 1979 drove to Houston and bought the first 928 for $40k cash(daddy had been an oilman) That was an amazing car. the entire dash pod adjusted with the steering wheel.

Uh oh- You guys are right.
That was me reading something and misinterpreting what I read. Apparently, that was an engine swap that I had seen (Why, God? WHY?) somewhere on the internets.
Chalk it up to really bad memory.

You KNOW the rear spoiler is windtunnel tested!
Is the front liscence plate "AC" the AC from the AC Cobras that Shelby got from England in the 60's???

Yeah, same company.
1981 AC ME3000 (Ghia)
The view you see on that link is a Ghia-design concept, though.

Frank Lee we already hijacked your thread......
But to your original pic....they didnt start blending the headlamps all the way into the fenders untill 1940-44.
back to the hijack:
I saw this 66 mustang probably 15 yrs ago. I remember I read the info sheet but can't remember one detail...........auggggg.
I 'think' it was a kit that was inspired by the Daytona Super Bee.......

Not many cars with front wheel skirts. The only regular production cars I can think of that had them were made by Nash. I'd like to get a Statesmen like this one:
No idea how efficient they were, but they look very aerodynamic for the era.

Does anyone else think this looks like a finger? It's pointing left, BTW.
And, it's from 1968... According to the description, the entirety of the body forms an inverted wing. Awesome.
Frank, thanks for that site. It's great.
