We have a King water bed frame/chassis with a Queen mattress in it. We use the area around the mattress on all sides for bed-time stuff storage.

On the bed, we have fitted jersey cotton sheets and a comforter, and we keep each other warm via body heat.

In fact, I usually get so warm I have to move away from my wife in the night so that I can breathe again.

The bedroom is typically about 60-65 degF
