I'd have given you the one on the 3rd story of our apartment (with no elevator). Seriously thought about dropping it from the balcony to save the effort.

This is the 12th year of flawless operation of an LG front load machine, though I hear bad stories all the time about front loaders. That was good enough for me to buy another larger one at the new house. Nice being able to wash comforters at home instead of a laundromat.

When my son was eight I had a wringer washer. It had enough entertainment value that he did laundry. later it was a sand blasting cabinet.

I thought this might get it's own thread, but at t=15:26 he brings it around with his premise about Toxic Midwesterninnys.

Mine is an electric Hamilton Beach I found years ago at Goodwill for prolly $3. No more cut fingers when you're rinsing them out!

Not wringer, but it's still possible to find new washing machines in my country with their external casing made out of wood.
