I haven't met a person yet who has heard of hypermiling. I don't even dare bring up ecomodding in conversation yet. That will have to wait until my side mirrors come off.

The EU is more stringent on CO2 output.
Tha actual emissions are about at the same level as yours - though CARB goes further on some.

The major difference is that the ECE fuel consumption test (NEDC) is far less realistic than the new EPA test.

NEDC is close to the old EPA, so it's a lot harder to beat than the new-EPA.
