Well the silver bullet is done, what next? (Camry wrecked - $5k budget for next car)
And I just got the overheating issue fixed... Sigh. Anyway, the silver bullet is done, with a 5k budget, what is out there to get? I found a few honda civic DX's for around 4k with 120k miles, are they worth it? I'm not sure where to go from here... Any help would be appreciated.

Don't accept the first insurance offer. It will be low. Find comps and negotiate higher compensation.
How many did Silver Bullet travel before getting totaled?

+1. Go to Cars.com and see what similar rigs cost in your area. Expand your search to cover similar models and present it all to the insurance company. If they're offering you five now, it's because they're hoping you'll just take it without knowing how much you should be getting.

No I'm saying if they don't offer me five, I'm going to give them the middle finger. This car is in PERFECT condition, I changed the oil every 3-5k miles since I got it, and washed it regularly. As for the miles, 91,000. I can't find any 95 camry's with that low of miles for less than 5,000.
Also on another note, no hybrids, I don't like having to replace the batteries. I was more looking into getting a Honda civic DX with that lean burn engine.

A stick Echo. Virtually bullet proof and no timing belt, around 45 MPG.
