What genre of music in your opinion is helping to get better FE?
I've heard that classic music helps people to come down and people listening to that are better in terms of safety and FE.
To be honest I'm listening metal and hard rock mostly when I'm driving with no safety issues with (IMHO) good results in FE. I'm thinking that listening to mellow, gentle music would make me bored and I would push the pedal to the metal just to not get bored to death.
Do you think that music that you are listening while driving affects your FE?

It affects mine when im listening to a fast paced song i tend to drive a little more furiously in the city which causes me to drive faster home. I normally just find a slower song that i like and throw it onto my flash drive.

I like ambient stuff. The music just kind of flows, zen-like - and I find that I and my car start to do the same, and just flow down the road, gracefully.

Glenn Miller, Artie Shaw
I usually start dancing in the car if something really jivin' comes on. Particularly motown, funk, disco or hip hop.

I drive best to Jazz music, smooth Jazz or uptempo.
Jazz seems to fit in with hypermiling, both are intricate and advanced, in my opinion.

None. I get distracted by the music. I love music, but hypermiling is Serious Business.
