Electric bikes and mpg figures

Hi all

I'm a UK author and have been doing a lot of writing about electric bikes recently and have been using Ecomodder as part of my research. I came up with a figure of 800-2000 mpg equivalent to cover the majority of electric bikes.

I wonder if any Ecomodders have figures for typical cars, ecomodded cars and indeed any other modes of transport...

Are you looking to compare MPGe of only electric transportation?

You could start with the MPGe recently released of the Nissan Leaf electric. (Note that the "G" in most discussions on this site are American gallons owing to the majority of the members here being from the US.)

From looking at the EPA sticker on the Leaf, it looks like 34kwh in a gallon of gasoline is pretty close to the EPA's figure.
So for an electric bicycle that would be around 1,000mpg?
