vacuum gauge

Thanks for the comments.

I've ordered a vacuum gauge, for $16 from Ebay.

The vacuum gauge arrived today and it's awesome.

Does anyone know where to get the tubing and tee fitting for a reasonable price?

The car places here are way too expensive.

...if you can position them away from all the really *hot* components, you could use both "Tee" and "tubing" intended for lawn watering systems...check your local "big-box" market stores.

Thanks very much. I don't mind paying a reasonable price, but napa and autozone sell the flimsy plastic tee for $6 and $11 respectively.

I'll check the hardware stores. Maybe I can find a brass tee there, and get the tubing from Ebay.

...beware of "soft" tubings, because it must be "stiff" enough that it doesn't collapse under full engine vacuum...when warm too.

Would this tubing be good?

Also, are all the tee connections the same, like this one?
