What MPG should I expect on my 94 Metro AUTOMATIC?

I drive mostly city (NYC) congested roads. Got a 94 Geo Metro 1.oL automatic slush box. What kinda MPG should I expect before I start calculating? I know most Metro owners have stick shift.

Thanks

Have you checked over at fueleconomy.gov?

There's a "Your MPG" section where people can report their mileage, and specify what engine/transmission they have. Start here:

You will get better fuel economy from that automatic than most others, so you are already gonna save. I think you may average 38 MPG if you use some of the driving tips here, but that's just a guess since we are unaware of how the car runs or if you have a large clown on the roof or something.
