What Tokyo Salon does to a CRZ

Tokyo's SEMA created interesting projects with many JDM models, especially their hybrid models. There are a few Prius body mods & here's a CRZ (called TS 1X in home market) with the usually added wings & body kits.
If we could only introduce adjustable grill blocks, partial Kamm-wings, cool rear wheel covers & even boat tails, it wouldn't be out of place.

O.K. .... why do we need an air scoop for the tail lights ?
This reminds me of the van craze in Japan. :


A boat-tail would go completely unnoticed next to these.

Redirects the airflow, giving the effect of a boattail? I've seen similar for trailers...
