Wow. Some of those are just tragic.

Is there a new term in the offing? Ecotrashing, perhaps.

Taking a car with an excellent Cd and destroying it.

I give you the Calibra: "On its launch in 1989, the Calibra was the most aerodynamic production car in the world. This was glorified in an advert on British television during 1990. The eight valve model was, however, the most aerodynamically efficient Opel ever, with a drag coefficient (Cd) of 0.26.[4] It remained the most aerodynamic mass production car for the next 10 years, until the Honda Insight and Audi A2 were launched in 1999 with a Cd of 0.25."

Oh, the HORROR...

That way they do not need to replace the blinker fluid as often.

...just illustrates that "...BAD TASTE..." is universally distributed, although concentrations are known to exist.

OTM - any chance of making anything you underline in your posts a link to something ? Its a convention on the interweb, or it used to be. Along with "you know your are addicted to the internet when you try and click on underlined words in magazines..." (circa 1995).

That, I believe, is called an Euro Spoiler. The Escort Cosworth had one like that . Honestly it looks more efficient than a spoiler sitting on the leading edge of the rear window blocking the dirty air .
