Just a thought on the WAI thing. even if you are pulling air from under the hood with the grill block it is taking a good while for the air to warm up. if you can pull air from an air box off the exhaust manifold you will get warm air quicker...

The plate is flat on the spoiler, its screws are actually helping hold the grill block on.

I'd love to move the lights lower down, but I think that will affect their performance. I need them to see deer at night.
