I usually use one of the characters in my cartoon rock band. Sid is one of the two guitarists, who also plays keyboards and shares the lead vocal duties with Sammy, the bass player. More info on the band and all its members and its music may be found at the link in my signature, including an animated music video.

When I was a wee lad, I played many sports, including American football( so there's no confusion) and powerlifting. I ate a LOT of cereal for breakfast out of a large serving bowl. While watching an episode of "The Beverly Hillbillies", Grannie said to Uncle Jed that she thought there was something wrong with Jethro, because he only ate 3 boxes of cereal that morning. My father, then and there, named me Jethro and my bowl was the Jethro Bowl.

As a Wilson, elementary schools liked to put us in sorted lines and I grew to hate being at the end. Then my first name, Robert, and middle name, John, were both fairly common. So in school, we had Robert, Rob, Robby, Bob, Bobby, and 'you Robert in the back.' Then as a young Marine with a somewhat stern visage from deep set eyes, I needed to soften my image and adopted "Bob" as my nickname. So when I had to choose a username, 'bwilson' came to mind. But as the Internet grew, I kept bouncing into other 'bwilson' users. <gerrr>

The common approach is to append a number but what to choose. The number '2' is not much better but '4' had possibilities. I was active in USENET so I had a 'bwilson4use' account and when doing business, 'bwilson4web' for Ebay and support services. But USENET descended into madness from binary porn and SPAM and has all but disappeared so 'bwilson4web' remained.

Mine is from an old TV series in the late 50's/early 60's.
The protagonist flew a couple of different planes. The second one was a Cessna 310, a plane I have many hours in.
