Crappy gimmicks will make it seem less expensive!!!

From ABG, Ford's latest innovation. In the future some Ford-built models will be able to tell you were to get the cheapest gas. It's interesting they'd put this in a Lincoln, since you'd think someone driving a luxury car would car less than someone in an SUV or pick-up, but perhaps the navigation systems for other cars aren't up to the task. *shrug*

Now that's funny.

Maybe they figure with something like this they can save money by not offering those "$1000 gas card with new vehicle purchase!" incentives that are all the rage.

Did I ever tell you I used to operate a gasbuddy.com type website in my city, sponsored by the local Toyota dealer? What's funny is the impetus behind it was gas prices had just surged over $0.60/litre ($2.27/US gal) for the first time. Motorists were outraged!
