The Polo did 53.86 mpg on the round trip, the Daimler pitched in at approx 27mpg according to the trip computer- not too shabby for being 2x the size of the polo (4Litre vs 1.9, and 1800kg vs 950ish)

alas nae lift at the unit-and now I'm solely out west (both work and habitation) I'm rarely over- it just houses all my guff. A clear out is needed
