Why make your own boat tail...
...when you can buy one?
97 Geo Prism
Quote:
For sale is a modified 97 5 speed geo prism. This car is modified to get 50 mpg on the highway. I built it myself of fiberglass and foam. It's a very practical daily driver for highway people. It has around 200,000 on the body but the motor has less as it was replaced 2 years ago. No power steering or ac. It was meant strictly for gas mileage. Very smooth clutch and engine runs great. Asking $1900 give me a call or text

Wow! Nice find.
I copied the text and the image into post #1 for posterity. (It all goes poof when the ad is removed.)
But no wheel covers and honkin' front mudflaps? Not an Ecomodder member!

Someone ask what his revs at 60 MPH are. Unless he is using bigger than stock tires, I think he is spinning something like 2660rpm at 60 MPH.
Attached the additional pictures on the CL post.

I saw it in the "Things that make you say WTF" thread on tacomaworld.com. I am not making this up.

This is an easy 65 MPG car on the highway with some subtle mods.
I would almost buy the thing just as a joke for my wife but way to far away.
