After a few weeks commuting 50 miles each way on the new Michelin X-Ice 2's, I find that they handle GREAT, pretty much like summer tires. Just a slight bit noisier but nothing like other traditional studless snows I've used in the past.
These seem to roll nicely. MPG has been down for me but we've had rotten wet weather here, and the car has had oil burning/tuneup issues too. I think they're very close to summer or all season tires as far as rolling resistance.
No snow yet here. Coming, I'm sure. If not, I'll have to do a road trip to upper New England just to try them in snow!
