was looking for max voltage, but if you have the info i take it all. inductance MH, peak current MA, primary resistance OHM'S, secondary resistance K OHM'S, and spark duration. thanks for the info

...I've found two "different" sets of resistance 'trouble-shooting' values:

PRI = .....0.3-0.5 ohms ...and... 1.0-1.3 ohms
SEC = 9,440-14,160 ohms ...and... 7.4K-11K ohms

...source for the first numbers: 1988 honda civic 1.5 l engine turns over but will - FixYa

thanks old tele man, but thats all for testing the ignition coil to make sure that its puting out the right voltage so the car will start. to low voltage the car will crank but wont start and you will see a spark but not a strong one to start the car. i'm looking for maximun voltage output from a standard ignition coil ( inside the distributor cap ). im going to be installing a exsternal ignition coil outside the distributor cap for a higher voltage output, this is why im looking to fine out what the maximun voltage output is.
