WTB: D-series Civic manual transmission
I have a VX final drive I want to install into another transmission before I bolt it on to my car. So I am looking to buy. DX, LX, CX, HX, VX, 1992-2000. No EXs or SIs (gear ratios are not good). I'll consider travel. I'll consider shipping.

I'll probably have an HF setup for sale soon, but you're looking for a 92+ hydro clutch.

That 2.95 final drive would be remarkable, but yeah, I think I need one of the later ones.

The HF's final is physically smaller than the newer transmissions, IIRC. It wouldn't work for you unless you swapped the whole trans in, and then you'd have to change your clutch setup or get a cable/hydro adapter kit from someone.

Thanks for the tips. Just the simpler hydro swap will be new to me and a bit of a challenge, so something with added dimensions like an adapter and such just invites mistakes from me. I gotta remember my limits so my machine does not have to remind me!
