Xcelplus improve FE and improve engine life???

Hi this is my first post and I will hopefully be a new owner of a metro xfi this Wed but my question is has anyone ever heard of xcelplus or duration and does it work? so people that have treated there car with this product and then running the vehicle with no oil to prove it works. My father turned wrenches for 15 years and told me of this product but had never used it himself. Has anyone on hear ever used it and if so what results did you find? better MPG?

I searched a little and found these:
Company Turning Biodiesel By-Product into Two Fuels - Domestic Fuel
Products
I'm interested in what they are doing on the biofuel front. But i doubt their lubes are a whole lot better than "normal" lubes. I'm open to correction of course.....

Hi Switchblade -

Many people have observed that a modern engine will actually run for a surprisingly long time without oil anyway, so the demonstrations of engines treated with Product X and then drained of oil are less conclusive than you might think.
I'd recommend a skeptical outlook, and reading this page: Fuel saving gadgets - a professional engineer's view

Xcelplus

Hi,

This product is what is known as a boundary lubricant.

It coats the metal and does not affect the oil.

It is permanent (stays there after an oil change).

It is the only product with tests posted on the web site.

NB. There are a lot of tests on the web site and the site includes videos.

:-)
