I want a Peel P50.

i've thought of making my own mini-EV trike.

It would look simpler though than a Peel.

maybe just a aluminium-reinforced coroplast upper body on a aluminium frame or something

Do it!

This is based on an octahedron. It has been subdivided 5 times as triangles and then once as edges. The simplest version would be four triangles on top and four trapezoids on the bottom. One or two subdivisions would give you 90% of the interior volume and edge length 1/4th or 1/6th the overall length.

You could cut the overall shape from a sheet, cut slits (for darts) and rivet the overlap. Brake the edges or not.

The length/width/height proportion is freely adjustable, being generally egg-like.

The Robin. One of the best arguments for reverse trikes!

I actually like the Robin, even though the driving position roughly beside the front wheel might have its side-effects on the weight bias. Anyway, if you're thinking about those Top Gear videos, they were overly exhagerated, with tricks like odd-sized rear wheels, a welded differential and some extra weight added to the driver's side to increase its tendency to roll over

Okay, ya got me. I picked that picture because it shows the triangulation, at least the second time (didn't realize I'd posted it prior). The tandem bogie is to fit in a 4-wheel racing class. Here's the same idea, as a motor home.

The slant-six design is deprecated. Nowadays it would have a front-wheel drive Tesla drive train. Here are two pictures that show the derivation:

The motor home has a flat bottom. It's stretched twice lengthwise and asymmetrically vertically. I should do a low poly version.
