It would be trivial (for a programmer) to reprogram a mpguino to read fuel flow sensor pulses and assign each one a fixed amount of fuel for display purposes. Heck even a bicycle computer can be calibrated to read a fuel sensor and give a meaningful result. Diesel John has been looking at the sensor end of it closely:
http://ecomodder.com/forum/showthrea...gine-1123.html and I haven't come up with anything better.

But I agree that the still functioning zemcos would be best put to service in a carbureted vehicle, at least until something else comes along.

HA I kinda thought so but as I did/do not program it I was thinking outside the chip whereas you are able to think inside the chip/program.

Can you also program/set it up to read off a small coil that is responding to a pair of nagnets on a drive shaft??

Did you see my post about the peak and hold injector adaptor??

And have you considered makeing they with a case??

And have you considered suppling the three buttons on wires so the builder can pit them in other places?

Note there ARE mistakes in the drawing...

He is also going to breadboard a test model and see it it can be made to work.

More when it is done.

On a personal note with the MPGunio doing a better job on FI injected cars, these old units are really better used on cars with carbs, so if the MPGonio works as I beleive it will, I maybe offering my four Zemco Units to those with a greater need for them.

As I can not think of any way of making a MPGunio work on aolder car, even with a add on VSS driver, I can think no flow meter will give the pulase wirth that a injector will, and if I understand the current set up thus the MPGunio will not read MPG with a flow meter count..??

I asked and he said he wants to wait until he can test things on a breadboard before giving it out.

Once proven he will send me a copy.

And either he or I will post it.

Unsure but interested.

I've been looking for a fuel flow monitor.

Are there any of them left? If yes how much to ship to the United kingdom?

Hi there mate, I have one currently coming to the UK this December. Apparently they only can be fit to carb cars but mine is a EFI car. Cheers there.

Zemco Compucruise 44 parts

Do have any parts for the model 44?
I need a either a replacement cruise control vacuum servo or the internal vacuum connector for my Compucruise 44. The vacuum connector broke off rendering the unit inoperable. It's installed on my 1980 Mustang. I miss the cruise control.

Thanks.

Wink Re:Zemco Compucruise 44

I came across this very old post of yours and was wondering if by any remote chance you still have one to sell to me? If not, perhaps you know where I can look for one?
