Got to talk to a few other drivers at a rest stop who came up on me on the road and one of them said it looked like a dragon tail waving up and down on the bumpy part of the road. It was that motion that caught his attention.

Sort of like tracing a corkscrew? Or just an up/down wag? (Thinking about wear to attach points).

As far as I know, it's only an up/down motion and not like a corkscrew you would see on a dragon kite. I keep the pivot points greased up and check the pins fer wear everytime I hook up Dark Aero.

I would think the corkscrew effect would have been greater with the old receiver-only mount. It should be relatively rigid side-to-side now.

I've been thinking about using aluminum diamond plate fer the lazy susan belly pan since it would have enough stiffness to not require the upper cross beams as well as the other structural reinforcements that I used on the Coroplast belly pan. I would only need one 4'x8' aluminum diamond plate sheet to build out Dark Aero's belly pan and chin pan. Regardless of the upper deck design, the lazy susan belly pan shouldn't be affected by any of those changes.
The aluminum diamond plate seems to be working well fer the truck belly pans. I'll will have to build a simple circle cutting rig to cut the lazy susan belly pan out.

Finally got around to replacing the Luan rear bulkhead panel since it had completely deteriorated into pieces. I used up the final leftover piece of 10mm Coroplast from my former engine bay belly pan. It was just enough to cover the rear with and I don't have to worry about it coming apart at the seams. I moved the rear tail lights down in preparation fer sizing Dark Aero down some more. I also removed more wood support pieces from the rear since they aren't needed with the thicker 10mm Coroplast.

Added in some support fer the air spring hose since I'm working on the wheel pant again.
