My T-100 from the nose to the rear bumper is 17'4" in length. Add in the 7' fer the trailer and the overall length is 24'4" which is 292" long.

Sounds like 1-mpg for every 9-1/8-inches!

Just added the 14" long tail cone back on the trailer...so make that 306" long!

Back to 292" as I didn't want to keep dealing with putting the tail cone up when backing up. I've installed a strip of Coroplast as my mud flap re-using the hinge From the tail cone experiment to see how well that will work back there.
I might try installing some metal facing to mitigate wear from the road debris as it comes up off the tire. Rubber would be ideal but I don't have any at the moment.

'Template' overlay
I finally got some scans into Photobucket.
Here is the 2011 Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4.
This is an AST-1 overlay, the 'slower' profile. You can see how the Lambo goes a little 'long' in the body.
Much preferred to a short, faster profile.
The 1994 Bugatti EB 110 and 2010 Porsche 918 Spyder are more AST-2
The 2012 Mercedes-Benz AMG C63 BLACK SERIES is a little too fast, and they must resort to a rear spoiler to fix the lift

Got a chance to play in the rain today on a quick drive to Houston and back. Indicated mileage going up was 25.9mpg and 25.2mpg coming back. Speed was set to 65mph. Rain was heavy at times and traffic only slowed down a few times. I didn't notice in the mirror any rooster tail or water spray from my rig while I was driving.
I was pretty much empty on this trip. My spare tire has been moved to the bed and mounted vertically on the driver's side. My Roadmaster Active Suspension has been adjusted from 1mm to 2mm spacing on the coils. The hitch air shocks were at 60psi and the air spring was at 70psi. Only one 60lb sand bag ballast, 2 spare tires, and 1 tool kit centered over the trailer tire.
Only one truck stopped to ask the rig. I drove around his truck in the parking lot to demonstrate the versatility of the single wheel trailer. He seemed amazed.

See, you need to cut off the engine compartment to make it really aero. I like the trailer, can you haul long stuff in it, like 10 foot pipe?

The trailer doesn't have an open front so anything I could carry in the truck bed could only be up to about 9' long with the tail gate down. It's possible to open up the front of the trailer to support anything longer than what the tail gate could support which would be up to 8' in length. Unless I go over extreme driveways, the articulation of the trailer shouldn't affect pipes that much if I were to open up the front and carry the pipes all the through into the trailer.
Fer 10' pipe...I would just carry them under the truck on top of the cross beams and belly pan.
