Woodland California is actually just North-East of Sacramento, so it's more of a NorCal thing. I keep getting it mixed up with Woodland Hills, which is near me.

At this point I'm just going to watch the bidding a see what happens. If it is going for a song and a dance, then who knows?

That car would be perfect for my mom. She's looking at Rav 4's or small SUV's and she drives all over God's green earth every week so it would save her some dough. If it was closer I'd check it out and see what happens. 2 wheel drive isn't appealing though...she lives in PA. Let me know what happens with it.

I'll post the results but you'll be able to monitor it in real-time. It's a 2-day bid that starts Tuesday, January 6, 10:00am.

I was hoping you'd notice it. I am crossing my fingers that the batteries are still in good shape.

if you have ever looked to see what they sell for on Ebay.. then you will most likely mortgage your house to buy it and if you choose to sell it I'm sure you could get every penny back, as they seem to sell for around $45,000 when they do turn up.

Ya, I was thinking that the final sale price probably will end up being sky-high, especially after doing some more in-depth research on the Electric RAV4's... Very few were sold to private citizens, and it looks like they were very well designed. I was thinking it'll go for at least the original sale price (~$26K), so wasn't surprised to hear from you that they tend to sell at ~$45K.

I had originally signed up for one back when Toyota was leasing them... never did get one...
