91' civic "project nose job"
I thought I would share some pics of what I'm doing to my civics font end., This first pic shows how I built up the foam to form the side piece., The next pic shows how I shaped the side piece with a rasp and coarse sand paper., The next is a front view., The next is of the drivers side before shaping., Then the full front view; that I formed out of used printing plates and foam forms.

I like it, man. Are you combining it with a belly pan or other such aero mods?

Thanks, glad you like it. I have plans to make some fender skirts and a new tail eventually.

I mentioned a belly pan because the round shape of the nose will encourage air to go under the car (as opposed to lowering and/or air dams, which push the air around the sides), so a belly pan will definitely help the airflow.

I've considered a belly pan, but haven't really been sold on it yet. Maybe a partial pan when I'm done with the nose and fender skirts.

Patience my friend; the paint will come when the nose is finished, still a long way to go. Especially since the weather isn't co-operating, rain, rain, rain.

I like it! how do you plan on mounting it permanently?
**EDIT**
Oh nevermind, i see youve bolted it onto the front bumper.
I also suggest a belly pan. It bumped me up a solid 2mpg.

Thanks, I think it's coming along nicely. I'll give that belly pan some more thought. Until then here are some more pics. The first 2 pics are of the foam side pieces. The rest are of the siliconed front gaps around the headlights and hood.

Looking very fierce, man, are you going to tape up the gap in the middle?
