Cool digitaldissent's Yaris sedan build thread

finished my prototype upper grill block, coroplast is hard to get on a sunday, thank you local elections.

I just sprayed it black, will get some black coroplast soon and re-do the upper section in one piece

Next up:

1.fix factory lower air dam (tweaked by driveway)
2.smooth transition over from front fog light openings
3.partial lower grill block, install walls behind bumper to direct air
4.re-engineer air dams forward of the wheels
5.more to come...

Check with any local sign store that makes their own signs in house. They should have some in stock or be able to get it for you. Wholesale cost on a 4'x8' sheet was $8 a few years ago when i used to be in the business and it couldn't have gone up a whole lot since so don't overpay!

Excellent!! you have no idea how helpful that is! I still think I'm going to try Fiberglass for my rear skirts but coroplast would be good for my front and some of the underpan.

Another New Yorker, I'll actually be in Buffalo for the next two weeks for business, I'm using the drive out and back as a test for my temp front end work.

That car looks really sharp with the grill block.

I wonder how it would be with this kind of decoration on the blocked part:

Motivate people out of the passing lane maybe...
