I am honestly glad this forum has still it's fair share of user activity, even now when fuel is cheaper (In the U.S at least, )

Good catch!

What's also interesting is the number of views here (90k) vs. the number at PriusChat, where Bill is also keeping a thread going (99k). Comparable number of views, but the Prius crowd is nearly 2x as chatty (~700 replies)!

Yeah I noticed that we get real popular when gas goes over $3 a gallon.

OPEC is cutting back so prices will rise. I expect a balancing act: if crude prices get high enough a bunch of fracking wells may come back online which will hurt countries selling to us.
