Euro Civic Sedan wheel skirts

I can't comment on this except to say that I found the photo's over at VWvortex.com/The Car Lounge under a thread titled "You're doing it wrong 3.0." In fact, the skirts seem rather well made, handsome even. It's amazing how much "heavier" they make the car look.

Here's the link to The Car Lounge You're doing it wrong 3.0 Page 10. The thread highlights the things we do, car-related, that are -- in the eyes of the beholder -- wrong. It's a pretty funny thread, actually.

Wow, that is fancy.

I should make some skirts. If I got ambitious, and ran without rear hubcaps, I could make some nice flush-fitting skirts.

I should also get handy with fiberglass and bondo, too, really.

Wow, those are nicely made. I actually went to the Vortex thread to see what comments were made about them. The next post was a defense. Still, I figure they haven't yet discovered EM as a source of pics for that thread

I like this. Looks professial.

No other car forum would see the function or beauty of this. They all want the same things. FASTER, Better looking cars. I remeber someone posting about a Honda Insight saying something like " Yeah they would not be so bad if you put better rims and removed the rear tire covers." I now reflect and shake my head.

Interesting thing is that anything done outside the hood to make the car more efficient will probably make the car faster as well. I wish the performance nuts would take note of that a little more.
