I've only seen this one type:

There's always the exception:

Jason Torchinsky delivers again:

jalopnik.com:This Is Not A Volkswagen Beetle

It sounds like Volkswagen went light on Orix because of their own problems with Tatra.

The one thing that I especially like about the Orix is the roof line providing a bit more head room for the back seat. Beyond that its pretty cool in general.

It appears to me to be a faithful roofline over an altered wheelbase. Look at the distance from the rear fender to the door, it should be IIRC 14". and the windshield is raked back.

justacarguy.blogspot.com:this '66 bug has been sitting for 21 years. That's incredible. Why would anyone store a good bug for 21 years and never drive it or sell it?

That Spanish copy of the Beetle looks quite interesting. BTW at least for private enterprises in the automotive industry, Spain had been quite permissive to violation of intellectual properties of foreign companies for a while.

Even though that Beetle doesn't seem so practical, it still looks interesting.
