MPGuino Values lost after powered down?

Hey guys.
I hooked up the MPGuino in my 94 Civic DX today and I noticed something about it which is problematic.
I incorporated a power switch in the circuit so that the MPGuino doesn't have to be on when the car is off and parked.
However, when I turn the power off I lose my Tank miles and distance.
My U/Sec and VSS Pulse figures remain saved though.

Any way to fix this?
Or does everyone else leave their MPGuinos powered on all the time?

Thanks.

JJ

mine is on, always, about 20milliamps idle. The backlight turns off after 7 minutes of no activity. It keeps the setup parameters in eprom, but the trips are in ram for speed/accuracy.

In wiki section there is code how to save tank parameters to eeprom - so you dont lose them if you want to disconnect mpguino sometimes or you get power loss.
I made some changes to my code so mpguino goes to sleep and consumes around 5-6 milliAmps. If someone is interested, I can check code and put that part here or in the wiki. It was quite easy actually, just added one line into that block where backlight is turned off.
