Lightbulb Partial rear wheel skirts/deflectors?

Had a little bit of time and scrap Coroplast to work with so I slapped these on prior to my trip... Not pretty...but it's just fer fun.


Any data on partial wheel skirts? I know my data will not reflect separate data just on these as my upcoming trip will be the first long distance trip with my revised aero cap, revised engine belly pan, extended rear diffuser, and now the partial wheel skirts.

This is NOT your exact configuration, but it does show benefit :



When they were making the GM EV-1 they chose partial wheel skirts :



They could have extended the skirt down more, but they were happy with the compromise.

If you look at rear view in this picture you can see that you *could* extend the EV-1 wheel skirt down even more :



When I say this I am assuming that the suspension doesn't make the rear wheels bow too much into negative camber when the car bottoms out :
