that would imply that your normal engine groundstrap was insufficient.... i would take a look at it and remedy the issue for redundant grounds.

Most of mine are LED. I don't have a problem with lights, but if I go above 2 on the blower motor, my ELD sensor "freaks out" and goes into a surging idle (900-1500 cycle). Not sure if its an issue in the circuit or normal amp draw. Either way seriously considering bypassing the ELD on this circuit since 95% of the time I'm at 1700rpm + (minor loss of voltage at idle is temporary).

I am about to do the timing belt and have to remove the crank pulley, so I am considering a mod now, while it is easier. In my research, I'm learning that reducing pulley weight is a critical part of any efficiency gains--not just the reduced RPMs to the accessories. So, how about a set up such as this? Consider: lightweight underdrive crank pulley coupled with a lighter and smaller alternator pulley. The net result would be less overall rotational mass, underdriven PS and AC (saving power), but normal RPMs on the alternator (preserving OEM charging specs).

What do you think?

I already deleted PS and AC and I have reduced electrical loads all around the car, so I'm not proposing this set-up for me. Just thinking outloud.

Here is a key article I found that helped me understand what I'm considering:
What You Need Know About Pulleys - Car Craft Magazine

On a 1.6 d-series, the crank pulley is dampened. I would be reluctant to change this design since the rod to stroke ratio is worse also. If you want to go this route, change the accessory drive pulleys.

Denso makes them. The stock 150A alternators on the Sienna are square conductor "hairpin" stator, I think. (might have gotten the amperage, and the model wrong lol)

Active rectification is something you have to custom fit. I looked into Schottky diodes, the leakage is really high and probably would not be good for this application. TBH it shouldn't be that hard to make a primitive one.

I have heard this said a lot, and it makes me pause and think and read more. Searching around for opinions and experience, I found this thread on another forum. This particular post and the whole thread are informative:
are pulleys worth it? - Unofficial Honda FIT Forums

But I can't find an appropriate pulley anyhow. All the racing pulleys are for 1992-1995s or later K-series engines.

Unorthodox makes p/s and alt pulleys for yours.
