Apparently, fuel is still far too cheap in the US to make (most) Americans come to their senses regarding their choice of cars.
I'm with you on this one, Euro.

The fact that he completely blew up when we dare suggest even a smaller pickup tells me he was trolling. He doesn't need to tow, but he MUST have a full-size truck? If you really need to haul stuff (like trash to the dump every weekend), and you don't want to tow it on a trailer, there's a perfectly good Ranger that's rated 27 mpg freeway.
