I used it a fair amount. Pretty much every day that I could for a summer. After that, I got going on the motorcycle project.

Cruises at 20 MPH on electric only. The are designed for that, as some places have laws that limit electric bikes to 20 mph.

It really worked very nice. I was using 3 18amp-hour batteries and had about a 20 mile range with it. Can always get more range by pedaling more.

Doing it differently, I would have used SMALLER batteries to save weight. Otherwise a couple cordless drill batteries might work great with it too.

Right now, I am using the charger from that kit as the motorcycle's on-board charger. I will change that anyways if I go to 48 volts, otherwise the kit just won't include the little 1.5 amp charger.

I would sell for $100. I am not using it, so anything I get for it will just go to the electric car fund.

I am hoping to make it up to the last day of the MREA fair. I will be working out of town until then.
