The center cradle will be a main attachment point and the rear bumper. I can also follow it out to the mudflap. The opposite side of the muffler will be a smaller piece.
Mine is the 98 civic but they are very similar in body style, and i have wondered if the angle of the rear bumper cover's bottom edge is close enough to define a good angle for a diffuser. What do you think of this pic?



Look like your rear bumber cover? I think it might define an angle that can also clear the suspension parts just behind the gas tank.
