Running the sink, probably 60 seconds, it's an extremely low-flow faucet. It's perhaps only 15ft from the hot water tank. Though, an additional outlet wouldn't be difficult either, just a bit more expensive.
I'm not terribly concerned about "wasting" the water as it's from a well in the front of the house, which seems basically endless.
