It appears that the properly jetted predator 459cc is using about the same or less fuel than the rich running Honda gx390.
Read your manuals.
I got the Honda gx390 used for a hundred bucks and I didn't even know if I could get it to start so I can't complain.

My problem here is there's burn bans that last up to a year at a time and old timers speak of a fires that get down into stumps burn along the roots and then popping back up some where nearby. I believe that I have witnessed that this year as a roadside grass fire burned some trees. Then about 3 days later another tree was randomly on fire in the middle of the burn patch.
